Hiking to the top of Australia’s highest peak, Mount Kosciuszko is considered to be one of the most inspiring one day walks in the country. During the summer months Kosciuszko can be reached either from Thredbo or Charlotte Pass. Your journey will reveal the wonders of an 800 year old Mountain Plum Pine, a glacial lake from the last ice age, the source of the mighty Snowy River and breath taking views that strech all the way to Victoria.
An everlasting life memory is to take the Kosciuszko Sunrise Tour. In the early hours of the morning be taken to the top of Mt Crackenback to begin your walk across the rooftop of Australia under a star covered sky. Stand on top of the summit to watch the first suns rays race across the peaks to start a fresh day. At the end of this wonderous experience you are rewarded with a well deserved champagne breakfast.
