    “Most amazing holiday yet!”

    We just stayed in penderlea barn and had the most amazing holiday! Our extended family of 9 spent 1 week and have already booked for 2 weeks next year! As an ex flight attendant I have stayed in many different types of accommodations as this was so perfect for our ‘dream’ ski chalet! The atmosphere and surroundings are Devine and the ease of access to perisher valley and jindabyne for supplies was just to easy! Can’t wait for our next stay!

    Upstairs, there are two generous bedrooms, one of which opens down to the lounge area, while the other is completely private. Each room has its own staircase and all rooms offer both a king-size bed which can be split into singles, plus the other bedroom has an additional full sized single daybed.

    Located within the ancient timber-framed conservatory, the inviting dining room is the perfect place to enjoy a meal and spend time together. This room features the most beautiful antique French dresser, combustion fireplace plus a flood of natural light. If you prefer to cook or dine alfresco, you can take advantage of the barbeque and outdoor sitting area.

  • Pender Lea Barn Living room

    We stayed in Pender’s Barn and it was the most superb experience we have ever had when skiing in Oz. Where do I start? Sipping aged scotch in front of the fire (ok, so that wasn’t included in the price, but who wouldn’t)? Settling back for some television on the couch? The incredibly comfortable king sized bed? Heated floors? We were floored when we saw what we got for our money. Loved it. Will we go back? Hell YEAH!

    We stayed at ‘Penders Barn’ and it was awesome. The house itself is magnificent and the location ideal. It has everything you need and we were really well looked after by the owners who quite obviously care about the experience their clientele have.     “Pender’s Barn – Our Oasis”

    We recently stayed at Pender Lea Chalet’s Pender’s Barn from end of July to early August 2013. From the moment we opened the door we were in heaven. The atmosphere of the barn is amazing, it is well equipped [loved cooking in the kitchen], enjoyed evenings by the fire [which was well stocked with wood] and with the convenient location we were left to want for nothing at all. The bathrooms are stunning, the house is well heated [the underfloor heating is delicious], there are beautiful windows showing off the gorgeous countryside, wildlife is abundant and for kids the layout of the house is exciting and fun. Before leaving we tried to devise a plan to buy the house so as not to leave! I am sure Pender Lea Chalet’s would never sell it, as it’s one of a kind, however, if they do they know who to call.  We will be back annually and already planning our next visit to the Snowy Mountains – a special time indeed. Many thanks Pender Lea Chalet’s – see you soon!

    All linen, towels, blankets & duvets are supplied by Pender Lea.  When you arrive you will find everything ready to go for your perfect holiday.

    In summer we tend to find people visit us in smaller groups.  So to accommodate our guest’s needs we offer lower occupancy rates to allow for smaller groups to visit.  Please check the booking page under Summer Pricing to see how many guests are included in the standard rate.  For additional guests please select the linen extra option when booking your holiday on our website.

    Mobile Phones

    Unfortunately mobile signal is unreliable; however there is a free local phone for your convenience.  The best mobile provider in our area is Telstra followed by Optus.  Unfortunately Vodafone’s service is very poor.  We also offer all guests free WiFi.

    Pets

    Dogs are welcome to stay in the property, but only when accompanied by guests. If you wish to go out without your dog, you can leave your furry companion at the onsite dog kennels where they’ll be safe until you return.
