Perisher Blue has some of the hottest free ride skiing and boarding in Australia. On offer are four terrain parks plus a Superpipe. The PSP Superpipe is king – 95 m long and 16 m wide, with a 7m transition and 5m high walls, making this the finest halfpipe in the country.
If you still crave more action as the sun goes down Perisher Blue offers night skiing/boarding Tuesdays and Saturdays unders lights on Front Valley using the mighty 8 seat Express Chairlift.
If you aren’t quiet ready to brave the snow on one plank or two Perisher Blue has the perfect solution to get you zipping down the slopes amongst the white stuff - Tube Town the resort’s snow tube park. This is a great “Snow Experience” for the whole family with absolutely no skill required. Enjoy the thrill of a high speed ride down the groomed tracks and catch the lift back up to do it all again.
Perisher Blue consists of four networked ski areas – Perisher Valley, Smiggin Holes, Blue Cow Mountain and Guthega. This makes Perisher Blue the largest ski resort in the Southern Hemisphere. The Ski Tube is only 5 minutes drive from Pender Lea, where the train will whisk you through the mountain to Perisher Blue. The rack rail train system makes travel to the snow hassle free, the train station is located at low altitude so it is rare that you will ever need chains to drive to Bullocks Flat. You dont have to worry about icy and slippery roads, simply leave your car at Bullocks flat and be in the heart of the action in 10 minutes.
