Thredbo has 480 ha of wicked snow riding territory, offering a diverse and challenging day on the slopes. Exhilarating tree lined runs, open snow bowls, the leg burning super trail, terrain parks and super pipes. At Thredbo you find the longest runs in Australia with the largest snow-making system in the Southern Hemisphere. From the top of Karels T-Bar, the highest point on the mountain you can scream down 672 vertical metres of snow covered slopes. Dreaming of the thrills of free riding, the resort offers 4 terrain parks and a superpipe.
 Just finding your snow legs, Friday Flats is a custom made beginners area. It has the perfect slope and easy to use lifts making those first few days as painless as possible. In no time at all you will be ready to graduate to the more challenging runs.
In total 67% of Thredbo’s terrain is classified as intermediate. Once you have mastered these chase the black runs, it doesnt get than the Funnel Web on a "blue bird day". Looking for some adventure the resorts off piste areas are amongst the best in the country.
Thredbo offers the total package great skiing and a picture perfect alpine village nestled into the valley. Here you will find cosy bars and lounges with roaring open fireplaces, award winning restaurants, cafes and pizzerias. Shop till you drop at the fab boutiques, designer mountain gallery and ski equipment outlets.
 Not to be missed every Saturday night throughout winter is the spectacular flare run and fireworks show followed by night skiing for everyone. The perfect prelude to a night out on the town. The village has a reputation for the best après scene in Australia.
Just in case you have not completely exhausted yourself on the slopes Thredbo offers the state of the art high altitude training centre, the Thredbo Leisure Centre. Work out in the gym, swim some laps in the Olympic heated pool, climb the 30m high cliff wall, smash a squash ball around the court, or maybe something a little more relaxingis required, a yoga class, pilates or a well deserved massage. If you are brave take the challenge of “Mission Inflatable” a floating obstacle course and slide, however be prepared to be competing with the littlese – the kids absolutely love it.
