With its Woolworths, restaurants, takeaways, clubs and variety of shops, chemist, banks and medical centre – 5 mins from the Ski Tube, linking you via Swiss rail under the mountain ranges to Perisher and Mt Blue Cow. While parking your car in a below snow line car park – 20 min from Thredbo Alpine Village – 40 min from Cooma airport

Fun Snowy Mountains Activities Await

When the snow thaws, alpine meadows bloom with wildflowers and trout fill the streams. In the warmer months, the Snowy Mountains have an amazing list of things to see and do including bushwalking, fishing, mountain biking, horse riding, golf, water skiing and Tennis. Thredbo has a leisure centre with a water slide, Olympic size indoor swimming pool, squash courts, basketball courts, gymnasium or ride down the mountain on the Bob sled.

If you love fishing, Pender Lea has Private river access to the Thredbo river. Our 4WD drive track winds down through remote wilderness to the Thredbo river. Here you can fish for trout in one of the untouched pools or running rapids. It’s a paradise for the fishing devotee. Many a great fishing tale has been born here.

Explore Pender Lea’s Snowy Mountain wilderness on horseback. Ride to the top of Thredbo Mountain range and take in the breath-taking views of the snow-capped mountains and Lake Jindabyne.
