Family Holiday


Yes, we breed Angus Beef cattle. The kids love seeing the cows and their oh-so-cute calves.

The school holidays fall: Over Christmas/ January, Easter for a couple of weeks, Late June and early July and September for a couple of weeks. We recommend you check the NSW Department of Education website for specific dates each year.

Yes, each ski resort has child care and day care available during the ski season? for half days to consecutive full days, depending on your needs.

We hire cots with linen, as well as highchairs. Please let us know what you need when booking and we’ll be happy to organise everything for you.

Previous kiddie visitors said they enjoyed: Sitting under stars outside, roasting marshmallows with everyone around the camp fires, and in close second place, building snowmen and having snowball fights.

Pender Lea is located on 2800 acres, so the exploring is unlimited! The children will have fun looking at the cows – and in Spring, their babies, there’s an abundance of kangaroos on the property, and at night, you can search for wombats! If you or the kids like horses, we have Thredbo Valley Horseriding located here on Pender Lea. The owner, Nev, has access to trails around Pender Lea and offers rides for all abilities. You’ll need to book in advance – you can call Nev on 02 6456 2142.
